+1 to that, though my issue is slightly different: On Ubuntu 16.04 in Unity, the toolbar icons for stopping or snoozing are hidden in the default window size, so when the alarm goes off I have to fumble around to make it stop.
Is there a way to set the initial window sizes? The initial window list its too little: i cannot start saved timers because clicking on the checkbox its impossible because them are hiddens. Otherwise add a "play/start" button for selected alarms.
