It is supposed to work on 32 bit systems. I assume it's an issue with data types. I'll look into it hopefully soon. Thanks for reporting it!
I got around to testing it on my 32 bit machine, and it seemed to function fine. I also didn't encounter any data type issues through diagnostic software. Is it possible to give me an exact procedure to follow to reproduce this issue?

Tried installing on my Acer notebook with Peppermint 9 OS. Would work for first few alarms then stop working.
