Update North Carolina 2010 #180

Merges in main
Fixes template issues that were resolved after this branch was made
Removes adv_18 and arv_18 columns in 01_prep
lowers pop_temper to avoid very large number of sims
Resolves various other comments from reviewers while on the way

@emmaebowe, this should get NC 2010 into working shape. There were a few issues with the template when you started and this resolves them, which should make it easy to finalize the branch.

Lots of files are changed because this also merges in main. Please review analyses/NC_2010 folder changes and then merge in when ready.
