Feature request: encryption #25

Hi,

for my backups it is very necessary that I can store them encrypted.

Do you see any possibility in future, to implement that in future?

I do agree that encryption is a feature that many users of boar will require, 
but I'm not sure that it is a good idea to build it into boar. There are 
several mature and free disk encryption tools that would work well with boar 
(see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_disk_encryption_software for a 
list). It would be convenient though to have encryption built in, but since 
there are other tools that solve this problem, it will not be implemented 
anytime soon. I'll mark this issue WontFix.
