Hi, is there any plan to develop a way to work with data that isn't timebased - for example direction?

Would be incredibly useful to extend the base_periodic_fig function to work with direction, not just dates!

Hey I agree @sourabhlal-ds , I would like to like this also. I may make a new repo for this .... I don't think they are keeping this updated. Feel free to follow me for updates.
