I recently had to rebuild my Home Assistant setup from scratch due to an overheating issue with my NUC. I did have a backup, but I’m currently waiting for a new Ryzen mini PC to arrive. In the meantime, I’ve spun up Home Assistant in a container on my NAS with the intention of migrating it to the new mini PC later.
Since setting up HA in the container, I’ve noticed that some sensors are missing. For example, I’m no longer seeing the door states or the temperature readings from my fridge sections, and the alerts I had set up are also missing.
Could this be related to running Home Assistant in a container? I didn’t have these issues when it was integrated on my previous setup with HOAS.
Hey everyone,
I recently had to rebuild my Home Assistant setup from scratch due to an overheating issue with my NUC. I did have a backup, but I’m currently waiting for a new Ryzen mini PC to arrive. In the meantime, I’ve spun up Home Assistant in a container on my NAS with the intention of migrating it to the new mini PC later.

Could this be related to running Home Assistant in a container? I didn’t have these issues when it was integrated on my previous setup with HOAS.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
