"Active pause in MSFS breaks the connection and does not allow to reconnect" - the idea where to search ... #982

BTW:

"Known Issues MSFS Active pause in MSFS breaks the connection and does not allow to reconnect. Use the key Esc for normal pause to avoid problems."

==> just an idea - I use now, as a "B Plan", that one MSFS "moving map": msfs2020-go/vfrmap at master · lian/msfs2020-go https://github.com/lian/msfs2020-go/tree/master/vfrmap

This "moving map" is using SimConnect and is definitely resistant to "active pause issue", I can do anything with MSFS and this map shows me the exact current user aircraft position all the time.

Sorry, but this does not help. I cannot rewrite the SimConnect interface until I find a working version (which breaks again with the next MSFS update) nor do I have the time to learn GO and review this interface . This was fine with MSFS and LNM until SU11. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Please tell Asobo to fix SimConnect. I already did without a reaction.

The fact that a restart of the sim fixes this and not a restart of LNM shows an issue on the MSFS side.

Yes, that I understand... but this"vfrmap" is working with a current MSFS (SimConnect) version ...

It's most likely querying less parameters from the interface.

YES!

I appreciate you're trying to help but I've seen too much issues with MSFS. Once they broke the SimConnect interface when querying the departure and destination for AI aircraft. Just one example...

OK, OK, let's call this "software development" 😸
