What is CPU Boost? #13

Hello, What does the CPU Boost option do in your app? Couldn't find a similar thing in Armoury Crate anyways.

This function controls the ability to boost CPU clock speed. For example, AMS Ryzen 7 5800hs specs:

Max. Boost Clock - Up to 4.4GHz
Base Clock - 2.8GHz

If CPU Boost is disabled, the processor will not reach the speed above 2.8GHz. This has a positive effect for a battery life and temperatures and can be used when CPU performance isn't required.

This is Windows function and it is not presented in Armoury Crate.
