Service doesn't start #9

I installed the service just fine. I also added a n2c config file. But when I try to start the service, it says: The service started and then stopped immediately.

Any clues to what might be wrong?

Have a look in your event viewer. There should be some extra information there that might help. Post that here also.

Have you got it working yet?

EgbertW commented 12 years ago

Nope, but I found another/easier solution. I added a raw printer in the host OS on that COM port, shared it over the network and mapped that network share to a RAW printer on the guest OS which my application can use.

Probably not a generic solution for devices that require two-way communication but it works for my ticker.
