Environent

Operating system:ubuntu 16.04 Desktop environment: unity Qt version: Albert version: Source: ppa:name

Steps to reproduce

Open albert type and launch google chrome browse open albert type and launch google chrome

Expected behaviour

What did you expect to happen? should re-use same instance of google chrome

Actual behaviour

What happened instead? Launches new instance. This pretty much renders the program as useless, as I nearly always want to use the same instance once a program is launched.

Just clarifying one thing here: searching google from Albert does open the search in an open Google Chrome. But just launching Google Chrome from Albert opens a new. Also ubuntu 16.04 with unity.

This is the expected behavior from my point of view. Are you using Albert to focus open windows, @georgejecook? Perhaps that could be cool, but I would expect that to be about hotkeying (using e.g. AutoKey) than about launching.
