currently could not search files in chinese character names. thanks.

Make sure you understood how file indexing works.

those files can be search by non-chinese charcters, and I found a strange behavior today, search chinese chactor returns nothing like below(confirm those files are under my home folder and have mime types selected, they are doc xls pdf etc). screenshot from 2017-05-02 10 16 39 ccc

but if I add " infront of chinese chacters , files can be searched: 222
