Imho it is not a good idea to index text/plain
by default. Afaik every file without extension and no magic match is text/plain
, hence a lot of files would be indexed. As stated in the docs, configuring the extension to your needs is highly recommended. So far a loose scope ($HOME) and strict filter is the best guess. If I loosen the filter I foresee people complaining about resource consumption of the extension and suggesting me to tighten the default filters. So sorry I cant implement this. I hope you can still enjoy albert.
Albert stopped indexing .txt files. I had to go to Plugins --> Files --> Advanced and add
text/plain
to the list. Indexing text files would be a sensible default for the "Documents" MIME type?
