Currently, the integration works very well for my day to day use. But now I would like to track the total consumption as well, as I have a water heater attached to it and would like to see how much it uses on a monthly/yearly basis.

I would like that the device has a "total consumption" field, for weekly, monthly and yearly overviews. This is already present in the app, I hope that the API endpoint is exposed as well.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've considered adding a power meter kind of entity with the "total increasing" attribute that could work, but I haven't tried adding it as the experience was a mixed bag judging by forums.
