Converted from SourceForge issue 2800812, submitted by albertzeyer

KillLimit is an important game setting and should be shown (at least if it is not unset).

I think this is mostly a task for the frontend team, so I'll assign to you, Karel.

Do you mean the Max Kills settings? It is shown both in lobby and in Game settings dialog in game.

It is not shown ingame. In all other shooter games, this setting is shown somewhere on the screen (sometimes together with the current highest kills).

It is shown when you press the Game Settings key (it's assigned to space by default I think). Seems to be enough for me, I can view it any time while it does not consume screen space permanently.

Killlimit is as important (or even more important) as time limit and we also have a nice timer at the top bar. So I think if we show the timelimit, we should also show the killlimit (if it is used) (and not just by a game setting). But I have to admit, I am not used to use the game settings key (totally forgot about it, even didn't know the specific key). Whereby perhaps other people also don't really know about that and would like to know the killlimit.

Perhaps I for myself will use the game settings key more often now. I just leave the descision to you (or the design team; perhaps ask the other design team members about it?), do what you think is best about it.

I use the game settings button pretty often. I think it's like that in almost every game - there are just keys which open various dialogs. For example I play with top bar hidden, so I don't see the time limit either.

As for now I'd leave it and fix this when a bigger UI revamp comes (probably with the new skinning system). I lower priority of this so it won't block the release.
