Update server list button does nothing if no masterfile #336

When clicking the Update server button nothing happens.

Do you mean the "update list" button in net menu?

If so, what do you mean with "nothing"? No dialog popped up or something?

@Devs: What would be the normal behaviour if there is no config?

Not sure, nobody responded here, but I assign to you Karel as you probably know best about this.

If you want to unassign this, please give at least some comment/hint.

Yeah, I'm sorry for the error, it is the Update server list button. Literarly nothing happens, no update of the server list, no pop up, no text, nothing, like if I didn't click it.

According to the code, this can only happen when OLX cannot find masterservers.txt. Are you sure they are in the cfg folder that is accessible to OLX? You can also check if the searchpaths are correct (in options.cfg in My Documents\OpenLieroX\cfg).

Could you please post the stdout.txt file from OLX directory (after you close OLX where this bug happened)?

OLX doesn't set any masterservers if that file cannot be found? At least that would be also a minor bug.

Btw., which SVN revision is that? There were some strange focusing / GUI errors earlier (some time ago) and I think I remember similar bugs (where the click is just not handled).

Can you answer my last question? What does OLX do if there is no masterservers file?

Nothing - the button appears not to be working. Just as in this case. But without a comment I really don't know if it is this case or not.

Doesn't matter, this is a bug then and the description matches, so let this be about this bug. Ruki can post a new bug report if he meant something else.
