Data samples missed #33

Data samples are sometimes missed when panning graph or checking settings. 

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Data should continue to be captured.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This might be related to low processor power combined with a tight sampling 
rate (the old default was 1s) in Artisan. Setting the sampling rate to 3-5s 
should improve this and does not has a major impact on logging accuracy.
