Connecting Center 301 with USB adapter to Artisan #54

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Center 301
2. Win 7 x64
3. RS-232 to USB Adapter using Prolific driver (correct driver for adapter)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Does not connect to the computer

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.56 of Artisan, Win 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
It does not connect to the computer. As i cant get a reading displayed.

Do you see your converters port in the port popup list of the serial dialog 
after "Scan for ports"? Could you please provide the output of the "Help/Error 
Log" and "Help/Serial Log" (after turning Serial Log on?

The issue was traced down to a not working cable. So I close this..
