Several devices....still not getting results #64

Hello,

Let me go straight to the point. I've tried connecting my Toper Roaster to a
computer since january. Trying to connect the main probe through the device
monitoring the roaster. Didn't work.

Then I've installed a second probe (J type) on the roaster and connected
through several of the device you are supporting. I've tried with Phidget 1046
and Omega HH506RA..Both are not working. At this time i've been trying several
thing with the Phidget and i'm never getting the right temperature, or error
messages.

Maybe i'm unlucky or i'm doing something wrong, but i've spent to much time
trying and buying returning devices. I've also tried with 4 different probes
to see if the problem was there...seems its not.

So, the big question, is What are the other options ? What are the easiest to
configure (plug and play?) and most likely to work device you would recommend ?
And with what kind of probe you are considering I would get better results ?
Is there a monitoring device that could monitor my roaster, and that I could
plug to the computer using only one probe, so exact same readings my roaster
would get ?? Looking for THE solution, i'm reading to buy all the necessary, i
need it to work.

Please let me know, any advice will be greatly appreciated !!

NB. I've tried on MAC and PC, both option are still available.

Thanks !!!

Vincent
