generate output #1

configure script to allow to generate intermediary (dot files) or output files

Basically means configure behaviour removed in c9c456a6 and 51aceb80

I can review it in a couple of days. Anyway is better not to mix unrelated issues. My though is #3 has nothing to do here.

The GitHub comparison for the #6 does not show problem with white spaces, The #3 may come next.

Add an option like --output, -o would be the best way to solve that. If present pipe command into that file.
