As original maintainer is working on JMeld again, any reason to work on this fork?
No, idea. I see there are hundreds of commit on this, so you are probably best to tell :)
No plans to move to different jdk for this code. If in a new version this will be noticed and fixed for sure.
This updates the deps so that the project builds on modern JDKs. Also updates the README.
