Hi I have ubuntu 18 with just openbox installed. Sometimes it appears in screencast app and sometimes it doesn't . On logs it just saying miracle-wifid-wlan0-6[23226]: P2P-DEVICE-LOST p2p_dev_addr=XXXXXXXXXXXXXX where xxxxx is my mac address of phone

that means your phone loose connection with your OS.

In wiki there's a faq to provide logs for support.

Closing until enough info is attached, as it is right now we cannot go further

only question will it work on openbox instead of gnome ? Please help

Miraclecast only needs access to a wpa_supplicant with dbus interface.

The fsct that you ser your mac, mostly confirm it
