Update app template #40

Here is an update for the default app template. I tried to make it up to date with standards and made a few fixes. Let me know if you have any questions.

The only issue I have is that when the app template is copied into a new project, the post_install.py script is not executable. Don't know if we can fix this while generating the file. Otherwise we can still ask the user to do so.
