cursor disappears on windows #13

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Occasionally, the cursor will disappear, and I won't be able to hit ^C,
save, or anything like that. Although I can highlight, I can't edit the text.
I can save using the graphical menu, though.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HEAD/0.8, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.

Sounds like a strange bug. If it is really only on Windows, I won't be much
help.

Try to pin down what you are doing just before it starts acting like that, then
maybe you can add some log statements to pin down exactly where the error is.

Is this still a problem?

Perhaps try a more recent version of PyQt?

I have been using pynguin on windows often recently and have never seen this.
Not sure if it was a windows problem or something else.

If you still see this problem, please try to determine a series of steps that
cause it and open a new issue.
