We get 'Instance reachability check failed at May 15, 2016 at 7:12:00 PM UTC+1 (11 minutes ago)' when trying to boot either g2.8xlarge g2.2xlarge

must need something else to boot - needs investigating

narrowed this down to the nouveau driver kernel panicking - logged issue alces-software/imageware#29 to track
