some/majority of games not showing in webMAN Games/PLAYSTATION2 #395

I have managed to squeeze around 500 ps2 games onto the internal drive into the PS2ISO folder, and only 124 of them are showing in the webMAN Games/PLAYSTATION2 games section of the dashboard.

the weird thing though is if I go to webMAN setup/Load sLaunch Menu (or use multiman to look for them), they all show up just fine.

I've even launched a couple of the ones missing from webMAN Games/PLAYSTATION2 in sLaunch and multiman to make sure they're okay.

I'm wondering if there's some way to have it rescan and check for new games to put into webMAN Games/PLAYSTATION2.

I'm on REBUG latest with WEBman mod (I held L for the full version if it makes a difference), open to any suggestions or questions about the setup.

Things I've tried so far:

refreshing the xmb via the webmangames/webman setup/refresh my games and XMB option uninstalling webman via the option in the same menu as above and reinstalling. crying

Try changing the setting for memory usage in /setup.ps3

You need to expand the section "IDPS & MEM Setup", then change the memory usage.

By default the memory allocated for PS2 emulation is only 64KB (approx. 120 games)

Enabling [MC] option will increase the PS2 slot to 256KB (approx. 500 games)

Selecting "Max PS2+ ( 368K PS3 + 768K PS2)" will increase the PS2 slot to 768KB (approx. 1500 games).

out of curiosity is there a place I can read more about what the MC option does? I noticed there are 4 "levels"

https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/VSH#Memory_Containers

MC stands for VSH Memory Container

It's the are of memory used by webMAN MOD to temporarily store the metadata of the scanned games and other operations.
