dmschwartzii commented 3 years ago

I am running 4.84.2 Rex edition on a fresh install. Webman loads ffine on boot up and is in full mode. However when I play PS2 iso's the first one loads fine, but upon exit I have reload webman or reboot the system of else I get a webman not ready notification.

Try disabling the "Scan for content at startup".

dmschwartzii commented 3 years ago

I have done that, with the same results. FYI system is not internet connected.

Check if your game pad has L2 and R2 stuck or are being pressed. Or maybe it is the START button or SELECT button.

You can disable the combos for VSH MENU and GAME MENU in /setup.ps3

dmschwartzii commented 3 years ago

I will try that and post the results

Some useful information maybe if I change the system operation from rebug to retail or vice versa webman will work once without failing out after playing PS2

I will just recommend u getting webman mod 1.47.24 that was made for 4.84 since having the one for ur firmware works better since my cfw is on 4.82 n webman 1.47.09 unless u really want the latest and aldostools will tell u other wise but just delete latest install 1.47.24

dmschwartzii commented 3 years ago

Again, the original non mod webman 1.47 does this. It does not matter what version of webman mod I use.

Weird

Victor765758 commented 2 years ago

I have a non-original DualShock 3 controller. If I start and close the ps2 iso wirelessly with a gamepad, I get a webman not ready notification when I try to start another iso. If I do this when the cable of the gamepad is connected, this error does not appear.

aldostools commented 2 years ago

That notification error is shown by wm_proxy.sprx when it cannot initialize the network communication or if the web server does not respond.

If this only happens with the non-original DS3 controller, then it should be some issue with Cobra. There is not much that I can do to fix this issue.

LuanTeles commented 6 months ago

I've been facing the same issue for years, but it seems unrelated to webMAN. I've tried various firmwares, and all of them had the same problem, the console loses network access that's why webMAN can't work.

Maybe related to cobra on some models or just a official bug, i'll try to install a official PS2 game on a DFW to see what happens
