Cannot change BD Region #514

Hi!

I'm very much new at this, but will provide the basics and hope someone can help.

I just succesfully downloaded and installed the CFW Ferrox Cobra 8.20 for 4.87, followed by WebMAN MOD 1.47.32. I'm able to adjust the BD region through the browser set-up just fine, and those settings definitely stick to whatever I've adjusted them to after rebooting. However, my ability to play Blu-Ray discs doesn't actually seem to be affected whatsoever. So I'm still able to play a Region B blu-ray on my Region B ps3 even after adjusting my BD Region to either A or C. I haven't yet attempted a region A or C blu-ray as I didn't want to waste my money on them if this attempt to change regions didn't work out. Could you help me figure out what I'm missing?

The region change found in webMAN MOD only calls the function for that purpose in Cobra payload. The rest is performed by the payload itself like a black box.

I have seen many reports of issues using that function. It is possible that the opcode in the payload has issues.

BTW try using the latest 1.47.35. The settings are stored in Cobra's config file and the build 1.47.32 was using the data structure for Mamba 8.3. This was fixed recently. Also try rebooting after the change of region.
