Source of Material Properties #9

Hi @alecGraves , I came across this repository for common 3D printed materials and am glad to have found it. However, I am curious of the source/s of the materials. May I ask which research papers you got these from, more specifically on the PolyTerra PLA? You mentioned that the sources can be found in the library, how do I view it?

If you open the library in Fusion360, there is a sources field for each material. Most of these should be filled in, but some might be missing.

Polyterra (now "Panchroma") properties are published by PolyMaker, and unknown properties are estimated according to #7

Hi, thank you for responding. I tried opening the link you gave me but I can't seem to find "Panchroma" in the comparison list. I also tried opening the product page of Panchroma but no details on the mechanical properties were there. I just wanted to compare your values to theirs (if they had any). I previously looked at the PolyTerra PLA's technical data sheet(see pdf and image below) and your values seem to be different.

Thanks for checking. There very well could be an error. I believe I tried to use X-Y direction values when possible.
