I am on Mavericks as well and I am also having this problem.

Wjoy launches, but fails to do anything and sits in the Activity Monitor's list
of processes.

Similar software such as DarwiinRemote and Wiiji will successfully launch,
recognize, and connect Wii remotes to the computer, but Wiiji is unable to use
it as a virtual joypad. It returns the following error when trying to enable it:
Wiiji is Unable to open the Virtual HID Driver.
HID joypad emulation unavailable.

It looks like these applications, including Wjoy, will have to be tweaked in
order to set up a Wii remote as a virtual joypad on OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

Yes DP4. Thank you for such a quick response. Great to see developers listening
to comments.

Ок, i did it :) Now WJoy run without freezes on 10.9 (but i test it on DP5).
New build in attachment.

In this build you need pair with device only once. After what, if you press any
button on wiimote (sometimes two-tree pressed), it connects to mac (and WJoy)
without "discovery" function. If WJoy started, of course. But it's very
experimental function, and may be it's not work. :)
