Project only compiles in 10.6 | Debug configuration

Original issue reported on code.google.com by ale...@gmail.com on 24 Aug 2010 at 12:22

The product now compiles in debug and in release.

But the target is 10.6 only. The reason is that the usb library is only
available for either 10.6 or 10.5, but not for both. Short of doing some really
nasty hack to load the right library depending on which platform we are running
this is the way it is going to be...

Issue 3 has been merged into this issue.

Issue 3 showed that the application was just crashing in 10.5. I've added some
code to display a nice panel instead saying that this OS is not supported by
the application.

Lars, would you mind testing this change I made on 10.5? I've attached a debug
dmg you can try to this bug.

Tnx, now it loads without error (i.e. the error mesg is gone).
It presents the prompt for installing the later version as you indicated in
your fix.
