Deleting, i.e. set to empty not working.

Removing previous values and leaving nothing is not detected.

Replacing existing data by a space is detected as update. The space is however not added in the url. The call results in an error. This probably due to a malformatted url. Now a space will added after the =. Is this malformatted?
