USB HDD Detection Issue #327

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Having a dual partitioned USB HDD
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When attempting to load a ROM, get a list of ROMs

What version of the product are you using? On which system and loader?
Wii64 Beta 1.1 - Red Wii System Menu 4.3u

Please provide any additional information below.
I can launch the application fine but when attempting to load a ROM I get an
error stating can't find usb:/wii64/roms. This is because I have a dual
partitioned USB hard drive connected to my Wii. One partition is FAT32 and the
other WBFS. All other emulators can see my drive fine. WiiXplorer shows my
FAT32 partition as usb1:/. It would be nice to be able to either select the
device from the settings menu or in a config file.

I am having the same issue, but is on a single fat32 partition. Games load fine
off of the SD card. Also I can launch wii64 from the USB drive, just won't load
the roms.

I don't know if anybody checks this anymore, but for anybody who checks this in
the future, here this solution to this problem! There is an unofficial release
of Wii64 1.1 Beta that is the same as the official except it has USB support! I
will leave it here for all to use!

If it was a file format issue then I wouldn't be getting the list of
filenames(ROMS) plus if you use the Hacked version it works fine.
