Hello author. I know this is weird but can you add it in UI Options? Great app overall but i think it would be better for some one who had low power pc.

aleksey-hoffman commented 3 years ago

Sure. I will try to implement this in one of the next updates.

i have a capable PC but i just find the interface too slow. being able to speed up the animations considerably or remove them completely would be a game changer for my willingness to continue using this application

I'll be another request for this. I have Windows animations disabled as well, as for functional apps like these I find the delayed response to inputs highly off-putting. Having flashy animations looks nice, but it makes it much harder for me to comprehend information quickly and make decisions when there is stuff happening in front of me (hover animations, folder fade in, etc). While I would like to continue trying out the program, this is an instant deal breaker and I closed out.

I'd like to add to this as well, some minimal animations are nice, things like simple hover effects/highlighting. But I'd love to see a reduced animations toggle alongside fully disabling them. Some (Files/folders growing when hovering) are a little bit over the top/flashy when trying to use this in everyday life. It makes it feel more like a tech demo, and less like a tool that I would actually want to use.
