Glyph request: Common office Symbols #445

It is funny, that libertinus contains symbols like a leaf, dragon but does not have very common glyphs for buisness/buisness cards. I think, a lot of people would like to use symbols for:

and much more. The named above are usually very common.

Thanks for opening a feature request. While I appropriate the idea, my inclination is that this is the wrong way to go. I realize there is a smattering of symbol glyphs already through the various families and styles, but they are inconsistent and as you note incomplete. If anything I might consider removing all of them! There are just so many symbol glyphs that maintaining a full set across all styles would be a huge chore and I'm not sure what the benefit is. For my own use I'd much rather pair my text font(s) with a separate font for symbols. The fewer symbols glyphs the text font has the more consistent a set I get from falling back to my preferred symbol font.

What's the use case for having a few more symbols added to the hodge-podge? How is that better than setting a good fallback font for symbols?
