Create an MSI Package #1

Hi, please create an MSI Package for this app.

Unfortunately, the installer just freezes, making it unusable. Right now, I'm using WSATools which works better than this thing.

tbh no it doesnt WSATools for me cant install every apk but this can

any idea why avast keeps using cyber capture on when running the installer/the actual app

Here. Now it is not responding and I would have to force close it from the task manager image

@itsmeboy0 could you do me a favour? Could you try to run the setup from the command line like this and send me the log? (Just right click on the folder -> open terminal here)

WSA-pacman-v0.5.1-installer.exe /LOG="myfile.txt"

Or try using a full path if it doesn't create it in the same folder (eg. "C:\myfile.txt")

Seems like it's failing right at the end, definitely weird since it's basically done (It's not even installing Visual C++ Redist as your installed version is higher then the version in the setup, so that's not the issue) How long have you tried leaving it open?

Tried leaving it open for 10 minutes, and it is still freezing. I do notice that it seems to be already installed even if I forcibly close it. The freeze is still annoying though.

@itsmeboy0 I tried on a slow computer, it did freeze up right in the end, I had to wait maybe 10-15 mins before it unfroze (but maybe it was just the Visual C++ Redist installation)

Does the program show up in Control Panel -> Programs and Features?

Yes it does, even if I had forcibly closed it. Uninstallation freezes as well.

As an alternative, we can use scoop to install wsa-pacman for now. See https://github.com/alesimula/wsa_pacman/issues/10

@alesimula You can close this now. I cleaned up my Visual C++ Redist as I found out duplication installations in my system, all works fine now.
