repo version not reported when invoking "repo --version" #177

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The bug report form requires to provide "Affected Version:", but there's no
easy way to figure out which version I am running. The standard way,
"--version" option, is not working.

Is the message you are seeing this one?

error: repo is not installed. Use "repo init" to install it here.
