issues that I haven't written up properly yet

none of these have been validated against live or videos, or tested in any way whatsoever. some of them may be intended behavior! some of them might be Not Actually Issues! some of them are going to be straight-up impossible to fix because there are no extant sources whatsoever! I'm just too damn lazy to write them up so I put them here instead.

hopefully now they have been updated to a point where things are actually meaningful and to avoid any duplicate issues.

• perascamin - in eversong woods - has wrong hover icon (repair not training)
• bael'dun foreman does not move to get in range of player when aggroed
• missing event after Alien Egg quest
• Protect Kanati Greycloud quest not implemented; duplicate spawn, one is a corpse - or this is possibly a reaction thing?
• helcular's revenge post-quest event?
• feature brainstorm: _custom tables instead of adding to base, to avoid duplicate IDs when running SQL updates? this would be better extend possible for, e.g., custom code that gets added in: instead of adding directly to creature_template, stick your entry in creature_template_custom. this would be similar to how, for example, CRM or ERP applications handle customer-added fields or entities.
• shimmering flats races unscripted? were they scripted on 3.3.5?
• southern 1k needles into tanaris, doubled torch spawns? i probably have screenshots from bc/wotlk somewhere, will dig
• regthar deathgate still available after picking up / turning in / accepting the swarm grows. i have no idea how these breadcrumbs are supposed to interact, good luck with this
• hand of reckoning: mobs will run to the location from which the taunt was cast, even casting while moving to be able to do so. movementtype maybe? burning blade adepts do not, but the burning blade augurs do
• likely core issue: casting takes precedence over fleeing in fear and can stop a mob from fleeing in order to cast
• kodo roundup: kodos need to despawn before the internal cooldown of quest credit? i left the turnin point to get another kodo and was able to get another quest credit from the first kodo.
• coast off of shadowprey village, bubble vents not working issue 16925
• should the drysnap crawlers out of the traps drop soft-shelled clam meat or shellfish?
• naga missing spawns in NW desolace?
• flight path should cancel at next node after logout
• neeru fireblade - you may speak frankly gossip option only should be available w/ 5727 in questlog
• champion cyssa dawnrose speaks wrong language in gossip
• ambassador sunsorrow may be supposed to have a different gossip if blood elf
• deathstalker mortis/deathmaster dwire should only have quests in proper level bracket?
• drywhisker kobold mote of myzrael drop rate way too high
• mirvyna jinglepocket in northern hillsbrad should not be spawned year round, she is specifically for Winter Veil
• restless apparitions in dustwallow marsh probably should not actually be gossip enabled; they have - default gossip but you get credit for what's haunting witch hill w/o talking to them
• mordant grimsby arrival event, i think, should only trigger once per player?
• should "questioning reethe" be available before other q's? check chaining
• should paval reethe have gossip? should he have a falling-over animation when the arrow hits him?
• razorspine missing waypoints (murloc) ?
• the blood-tempered ranseur quest 9710 should have a scripted event. there are no public sources that I could find for this, I tried looking for videos, wiki, wowhead...nothing indicated what the event should look like.
• thork should give quest 5041 starting at level 9, he currently does not (ref. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hmh32R7cC1w) - chaining issue?
• Corpse laden boat in silverpine forest - corpses are not at the right orientation compared to the boat
• event missing after rot hide origins turnin (Bethor Iceshard)
• wizzlecrank's shredder, for quest the escape, is pathed wrong and despawns without giving quest credit
• killing kolkar centaur near the stagnant oasis should occasionally summon Verog the Dervish on death and say "I am slain! Sumomn Verog!", doesn't seem to (marauders, pack runners, and blodochargets at elast)
• turn in for Devourer of Souls / gossip for Cazul may be incorrect ($N for Zarm)
• drain soul sometimes gives two soul shards for some indiscernible reason. i think it's a talent later on? but this is untalented.
• magatha grimtotem should have an RP event after turning in The Elder Crone and before Forsaken Aid can be picked up
• Energized should probably only go on the player during Corrosion Prevention quest
• innkeeper gryshka: cologne bottle and perfume bottle should only be available during Love is in the air event
• return to krog, from mosarn in thunder blfuf, is chained to the wrong quest, hsould be (correct The Black Shield quets ID)
• venture co. strip miners will not resume attacking after throwing dynamite unless the player is in melee range
• typo in quest completion text for "Indurium" - should be ? instead of .
• possibly needs an event after Indurium turn in
• sawtooth snappers have a chnace to drop Burning Crusade greens
• Shattered Sun Bombardier 25144 flies very very slowl
• seal of command doesn't proc on partially blocked hits? ck this
• spirits of stonemaul hold should chain from the essence of enmity
• southsea swashbucklers really should not have a 100% drop rate on Captain's Key
• taunted mobs move while casting. possibly only ones with a certain movement type? (50251 did, 50256 did not)
• antilus the soarer has a very slow flying animation - normal? dunno
• Venom Bottles gobject does not exist for quest Venom Bottles (Hinterlands) quest 2933
• witch doctor unbagwa's event - give him a gorilla fang thing - is not completely scripted
• time watchers near caverns of time stuck on ground??
• Master Smith Burninate has "You've done all that I've asked you to do..." gossip text even if you've never talked to him before.
• typos in kalaran windblade gossip during Divine Retribution quest?
• torch of retribution lets you speedlevel unarmed
• journeyman's backpack drop too high off gordunni brutes?
• Kuz and Nak missing waypoints (barrens)
• Prospector Khazgorm shoul dhav emultiple spawns
• seeping corruption part 3 has wrong quest text
• katoom the angler should give both Snapjaws, Mon! and Gammerita, Mon! at the same tiem - no prereq. This was not the case in vanilla, but I believe it was patched sometime, possibly in BC.
• Vulture's Vigor, Snickerfang Jowls, and The Decisive Striker are all unable to be turned in even if you have the right materials.
• ravasaur runners do not drop Williden's Journal as they should. might be all mobs? via wowhead: This thing dropped as loot in almost every-other kill I made! As soon as I completed the quest, it stopped spawning as loot.
• egg nests for The Scent of Lar'korwi need an internal cooldown
• Eastern Crystal Pylon, e.g., should not have "The secrets hidden within the Pylons..." gossip text until quest 4321 is complete. There doesn't appear to be alternative text in broadcast_text.
• J.D. Collie may be missing gossip options / menus.
• winterfall runner spawns 3x in winterspring. i believe this to be incorrect
• miblon snarltooth is not scripted properly, does not run over to eat the bait . ISSUE 14774
• pretty sure corrupted plants shouldn't show up until you have the cenarion beacon in felwood? after turning in Cleasing Felwood, maybe. relevant issue: 4960. needs conditions?
• Spark Nilminer's gossip "What do you think of Dadanga?" doesn't do anything. It's probably a "dislikes bombs" reference but also I don't actually know. I may have relevant screenshots, will look.
• Gorn One Eye (Timbermaw furbolgs) has "Yes, yes. I see you.\n\nBe on your way. (...)" gossip even though you can buy/sell to him. He may need conditions for reputation. broadcast_text 7143 and 7144 are meaningful here. Also need to see if the tailoring trainer is the same way, see 7147/7148.
• Mechanical Yeti (for "Are We There Yeti?) aggroes Bloodpetal Pests after you release it in Un'goro; it also follows the player and not Legacki in Winterspring/Everlook
• Quest chaining: p sure Return to Thrallmar should be chained to Mission: Gateways Murketh and Shaadraz, not Mission:Tghe Abyssal Shelf.
• no spell effect after close burning legion gate for Doorway to teh Abyss? check against live or quest videos.
• Grelag (Spinebreaker Post) should not have "Thank you for your help in making the salve..." gossip menu text until quest 9345 is complete. Based on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlO7uctt9PE he should just offer the quest. I didnt see any additional gossip text in broadcast_text.
• The quest sparkles on Hellfire Spineleaf are way, way too big
• cursed scarabs are not behaving properly, they aggro from a long range on the player and should instead simply become hostile after X seconds and then despawn in additional X seconds. Currently the scarabs will become hostile and target the player automatically over time. *They also should not provide any experience! They currently provide full xp based on their level. RELATED: issue 12897**
• fire graphic on the zeth'gor stable shouldn't be there until player uses item Burnin gBleeding Hollow Torch on it. similarly, fire graphics should exist for the eastern and western hovel after using the torches.
• Marauding Crust Burster should have Eroded Leather Case in its loot table. On review, they absolutely do, it's just a 5% drop rate so lol have fun
• Stonescythe Alphas, and possibly Stonescythe Whelps, are missing their shield wall below 50% ability. i know there are some guys doing sai scripting for all zones so this can probably just wait?
• the draenei that spawn for the Cleansing Must Be Stopped should aggro on the player, p sure. rn they just spawn. check live
• umbrafen witchdoctors should probably cast Umbrafen Buff on spawn not on combat

this seems to be intentional, as the horde AV entrance also has a similar goblin and wowheads comments state in 3.0 these two were made to be year round.
