Support for markdown and notes #2

Would it be a good idea to include markdown support and notes?. I personally would like notes and markdown.

Could you expand on what you mean by each of "markdown support" and "notes"?

I had a look at other new tab plugins and I found that I really could use the ability to write simple notes. And maybe extend this to support markdown like Github so that you could for example define headers and whatnot. Like this: https://getpapier.com/
