Hey @Yesenia950,

Thanks for sharing about yourself.

Could you also share a bit about your larger MS project that you're working on outside this class?

I'd like to customize this course to the interests of the students to the best of my ability, so anything you can share about your project or interests in remote sensing more generally will help me.

I'd also like you to start thinking about the final project for this course. I encourage students to pick a topic related to/in support of their larger MS project, but you are free to select any topic in applied remote sensing that interests you.

Along those lines, do you have an idea about the broad topic of your final report or are you still thinking about it? No worries if you still aren't sure since it is still very early in the semester.

Best, Alex

Hey Alex,

Me and my team's project is focused around land use classification and just updating that information to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. I will still need to think about a topic in terms of remote sensing that you mentioned for the final project in this class.

Hey @Yesenia950

Thanks for sharing about your broader project. Sounds like an interesting urban application of remote sensing.

Let me know if you need help or support brain storming a topic for the class's final project. I'll share details about the requirements and deliverables over the coming weeks. Likewise I'll share a resource to help students hone in on a topic of interest.

Best, Alex
