My team is working with the Moore Institute to collect data on microplastics found in drinking water. This data will then be uploaded into an open data portal to make it open and accessible to anyone who wants to view it. We will also be using web maps to help visualize the data to make it a little more accessible to the average, non-researcher person. And for content I am interested in, I would really like to learn more about using remote sensing for mapping wildfires and how it can be used to take preventative actions to help mitigate the impact on the environment and human life and property. That being said, I was very excited about the last lecture and lab!
