Constant upload traffic with no clients connected

Which device (manufacturer, type)?

Droid X

Which firmware is installed?
OTA 2.3.3 with TBH patch

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.1-b2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Start tethering.  Uploading starts immediately
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There's constant upload traffic but tethering works otherwise.

Please provide any additional information below.

Had to install the TBH patch since the VZW block screen was coming up.

Same here on a Droid X Rooted GB 596
Start tethering, no connected devices and constant upoad.
Do a netstat, and do not see an active external port.

Still same upload with ersion 3.1 Bata 6, can this issue be vetted?

For some reason, I'm not sure it's actually uploading anything, but it's 
showing lot's of MB being uploaded for me too.  Using 3.1b6.

I have the same issue on Droid x stock rooted. But there is no 3g traffic 
showing.
