Which device (manufacturer, type)?Droid X

Which firmware is installed? GB .596

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.1 v2, also tried 2.0.7
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start tethering
2.automatically invokes hotspot
3.when connection to devices it says that my pwd is incorrect or will not 
connect with wep key not enabled

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to be connected to my devices without vzw tracking my wifi usage

Have you android 2.3 (gingerbread) installed?

I have resolved my issue. I installed the TBH DX TETHER PATCH 1.0 using DROID 2 
bootstrapped and the rebooted the system while still in bootstrap.

I still have use of all voice commands and bluetooth with this fix. I am 
running gb. 596
