Which device (manufacturer, type)? samsung Epic 4g

Which firmware is installed? 2.2.1

What version of wireless tether are you using? 3.1 beta6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. tried to recreate but phone just reboots without notice while running the 
tether app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
phone reboots occasionaly for no reason. I get a super user message quickly 
before reboot

Please provide any additional information below.
tethered to galaxy tab wifi and ipod touch. epic 4g selected in settings using 
chanel 1

I can recreate each time I try to run the app.

Wifi tether causes hot spot app to start and I get the super user notification, 
then ip response error is displayed. If I try to setup hot spot, the phone 
reboots.

i cant get my xoom to notice my photon on tether i tried all the different ones 
and i get a reboot for most

I have a Photon and exactly this happens to me about every hour or two, but not 
using the generic or auto. Right now I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S profile, 
with MSS Clamping enabled and data disabler disabled.

One thing I notice is that my previous WEP enabled SSID shows up no matter 
what. Also, I can get about an hour or two out of it before I get a reboot. 
While yes it gets warm but 88F isn't horrible.
