Htc Evo 4g Fix #1411

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
Htc Evo 4g
Which firmware is installed?
2.3.5
What version of wireless tether are you using?
2.0.8
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Ok for people have problems with the Evo not connecting to the internet you 
need to try 2.0.8 that fixed my problem, the new versions dont work... 
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Just try 2.0.8 it works for Htc phones
Please provide any additional information below.
Dont use the new version of wifi tether

Have you enabled "routing fix" in app-settings of the newer versions?

No I did not try that but I kept reading a few people had the same exact 
problem it would send off WiFi but once I would connect my ipod or mac they 
would say no internet access. So I decided to use the last known update that I 
knew of that worked for me before

How do I change the Firmware to 2.0.8? And how do i know what firmware it is 
right  now?
