Which firmware is installed?
Stock Jellybean 4.1.2
What version of wireless tether are you using?
Tried the newest 3.4 and last known stable 3.2 beta 2.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install safestrap recovery
2. open app, set method to Razr Spyder
3. Turn encryption on.
4. Start tethering
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It normally tethers fine, but once you install safestrap it no longer works.
Please provide any additional information below.
I am pretty sure this occurs because safestrap installs a modified
"system/bin/logwrapper" file and it is not compatible with wifi tether.
