Slow 4G tethering speeds, although internal app shows fast speeds.

Which firmwre is installed?

Stock 2.2.1 (stock other than being rooted of course)  EB13

What version of wireless tether are you using?

WiFi Tether for Root Users 3.0-pre11

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Connect to Wifi tether with 4G active

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

around .8 down and around .6 up (Megabit per sec) is what I see with my laptop 
wireless connected to my phone.  If I use the speedtest.net app on the Market 
to test my speed in the same area, I get almost 3 down and over 1 up.

Please provide any additional information below.

I don't live in a 4G area, so I don't use this often, but wanted to report the 
issue nonetheless.

same issue I stay in Sprint 4g area, can we please get this fix, every release 
does not fix issue

I don't believe that this is an app-related issue. The phone (or your carrier) 
might throttle our speeds. Anyway ... I don't have a epic available for testing 
(it's not even available here in europe).

I leave this issue opened but there is not much I can do about it.
