connects to ps3 but not computer

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC EVO 4G
Which firmware is installed?
basic fresh unrevoked, no custom roms or kernels
What version of wireless tether are you using?
current on app market
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.using barnacle
2.previous versions
3.un/reinstall

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
my computer connecting, instead it either never connects and attempts forever 
or simply says not connected next to the access point in available wireless 
networks
Please provide any additional information below.
previously worked, about a month ago and now will only let me use my ps3, can 
play online and connect to psn, nat type changed from type3 to type2

Well. No idea. Have you tried the latest "experimental"-version (version 3) 
available in the download-section?
