I've noticed after rebooting Homebridge that the Alexa plugin rediscovers my devices and all works again until the next "Hm, I'm having trouble reaching null." Happened 3 times today. Tried resetting "refresh=300" in the config, instead of the default 600, but I haven't seen an improvement.
@ashbyjm Do you still have the issue? If so, please give us request and response that give you the error message? If you re-login the skill and the issue is temporarily resolved, it might be account linking problem. Please make sure if you use refresh token properly.
Closing due to inactivity.
After an overnight or other period of disuse, Alexa fails to execute the command and says "Hm, I'm having trouble reaching null." Afterward, trying it with other devices or groups it still fails. I can execute the command from the Homebridge Accessory page. However, if I wait a few hours it will fix itself. Any suggestions on how to address this?
The devices are supported by the Insteonlocal plug-in, and will work from Homebridge or the Apple Home app. The above title is from the Homebridge log when a failure occurs, and the Homebridge Alexa Cloud Services reflect the failure of the last command.
