Sad to hear that news, but I wanted to thank you for all you brought until now ! This tool is the most accomplished and usefull I have seen.
I must say that the API and the restriction are very strange... MKM should make it easy - documented and accessable to users (power users) who will sell many cards. I dont get this policy..!
Maybe it is time to rebuild a nice website with a solid API + MTGJSON + Scryfall with a solid API

There is a solid alternative to cardmarket in cardtrader.com, their API works and seems reasonable, they are actively improving the site and the API, their fees are the same and the selling "pipeline" is the same (buyer pays for automatically computed shipping, fees only on made sales, money is held in their escrow and payed out upon delivery etc.), the website is in my opinion nice to use. They also have built in csv import/export, integration with various 3rd party tools...basically they are currently better than cardmarket in every way - except for a much smaller customer base, which is crucial. I would be interested in modifying MKMTool to work with cardtrader, but I don't have the time for it right now and if they don't manage to bring in more buyers, it wouldn't be worth it anyway. Also, it's hard to know if they wouldn't run into the same problems as cardmarket if the load on their servers increased significantly.
FYI, customer support told me that the new API would be available "Approximately in the third quarter of 2022".
Any news?
I have asked MKM about access to the API for private users, here is the reply:
So far the only public indication about when will the 3.0 version come was "later this year", I think it is safe to assume it will be at least several months. After that, modifications will have to be made to MKMTool to make it work again. At this point obviously there is no telling how much work will that be and if it will be possible to keep all features. In any case, so do not expect the tool to work in at least the upcoming months.
If you are a commercial seller, you might be able to get access to the API if you ask the support, though if I understand correctly they evaluate the requests for access on a case by case basis. MKMTool will still work if you are able to get API access.
