I was trying to trigger the alien blaster encounter (the ~6 squares north of Modoc, you can see which squares are explored) and I noticed that the amount of XP awarded for outdoorsman slightly differs? Encounters such as golden geckos and radscorpions gave me in RE 46XP, in vanilla 36XP.
I was just exploring back and forth in some small circle and comparing the XP to vanilla.
